I recently spent three nights at Residencial Tres Hermanos in Patagonia, and while it's definitely a charming spot, it has its quirks. The beds were clean and comfy-perfect for the cold nights, and the bathrooms were well-maintained. There's a fantastic power shower that is a real treat after a long day of exploring. On the value side, the breakfast left much to be desired; it consisted mainly of a couple of slices of bread and instant coffee. I recommend bringing some of your own food to supplement your morning meal. Pamela, one of the hosts, was incredibly helpful and communicated well in slow Spanish, providing useful information about local tours. Her mother seemed a bit less welcoming, which created some awkward moments for us given the language barrier. Ultimately, while Residencial Tres Hermanos may not be the cheapest option, its warm atmosphere and attentive service make it a fair choice for travelers on a budget ticking off stops in Chile.
